You can enjoy the big game on your sofa right through your Xbox console.
The biggest football game of the year is already here. Following a thrilling season of touchdowns and tackles, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Fransisco 49ers will square off in Super Bowl LIV on Sunday, February 2, 2020. You can enjoy the big game right on your comfortable sofa by watching it through your Xbox One.
Super Bowl LIV kicks off at 6:30 pm ET on Sunday. Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., hosts the event, and Fox Sports will handle the game's broadcast.
How to watch Super Bowl 2020: stream it free without cable
Because the broadcast is by FOX, you can use the FOX Sports app on your Xbox One to watch the game. You'll have to use your login from a live TV or cable streaming service or create a profile on the FOX Sports website to see the game, but that's easy enough to do. To get the FOX Sports app for the Xbox One, just pop on over the Store tab on your Xbox One, search for FOX Sports app and choose Get it Free.
You can also go to the Microsoft Store on another device, go to the app's listing and load the app onto your console.
FOX makes it easy to find the Super Bowl within the FOX Sports app. In fact, it's the first thing you'll see when you open the app. The app lists upcoming events, so Super Bowl LIV is front and center on the app's welcome screen. If you don't see the big game on the home screen, you can use these steps:
- Scroll down with your remote to find the "By Sport" section.
- Find the "NFL" in the By Sport section.
- Click to open the "NFL" section.
- The Super Bowl will be the first option you see.
If you need to log in with your FOX Sports profile, or use your live TV provider login, try the following steps.
- Tap up on the main page until you reach the Navigation bar.
- Tap to the right on your remote to select the Settings screen.
- Click down on your remote and find the Profile or TV Provider Sign in options.
- Follow the prompts to sign in.

Use a VPN to watch Super Bowl LIV
While FOX is available in many locations, you might need to use a VPN to watch the Super Bowl depending on your area. If you're in a country other than the U.S., you may need to switch a VPN on to watch the U.S. broadcast of the game. If you're away on business or not in the U.S. for any other reason, a VPN could also be your best friend this weekend.
A VPN is a good investment for your web security, but can also make your device appear to be in another location, including the U.S.
VPNs are easy to set up, and there are plenty of good options, but we recommend Express VPN because it's easy to use, affordable, and earns excellent ratings for reliability. Express VPN can help improve your security online and tunnel your traffic through your choice of locations.
