Now you can use Qi to wirelessly charge your Cloud Flight gaming headset.
What you need to know
- HyperX announced the Cloud Flight S at CES 2020.
- This new gaming headset offers great audio with Qi wireless charging.
- Will be available in February 2020 for $160.
Gaming headsets are great for immersing oneself in PC titles and wireless cups allow you to do so without being tethered to your PC. The only drawback to these devices is the method of charging the internal battery. Some allow you to swap out said batteries quickly, while others require you to plug in the headset and let it sit for a while.
HyperX decided to launch the new Cloud Flight S, taking everything that made the Cloud Flight gaming headset so good and throw in a free-standing Qi wireless charger. Not only is it now easier than every before to top-up between gaming sessions, these cups rock some considerable audible performance.
Some handy features include HyperX virtual 7.1 surround sound (if that's your thing), 50mm drivers, 2.4GHz connectivity, detachable microphone, support for consoles, as well as HyperX's own NGENUITY software suite. For battery life, you're looking at anywhere up to 30 hours, which isn't too bad and should see you through most gaming sessions.
