Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming first-person shooter from The Witcher developer CD Projekt RED. It takes player choice to another level and features a sprawling city with hundreds of characters to interact with. At Microsoft's E3 2019 media briefing, the team debuted a new trailer along with the April 16, 2020 release date. Unfortunately, since then it's been pushed back towards the end of the year.
In a recent interview with OnMSFT, Studio Head John Mamais revealed that the game features around 75 street stories that are a great way to level up between more substantial missions. He said the following.
There's a couple of layers. There's a passive layer, which is the vendors, then there's the 'STSs,' which are the street stories. I think there's around 75 street stories. Then there's minor activities as well. There's story but there's not, like, advanced cinematic storytelling sequences so much. They're a way to explore the world and level-up your character.
It's great to see that there will be other types of missions in the game. Hopefully, they won't be tacked one and will give you more insight into the world.
What do you hope to see from the street stories? Let us know.
