Proven Development Solutions for NB-IoT and LTE-M Applications.
IoTerop announces a smart LwM2M implementation for the STM32 MCUs from STMicroelectronics.
Lightweight M2M, a standard defined by Open Mobile Alliance, is used by network operators for remote device management, data reporting, and device actuating.
IoTerop’s IOWA solution, with the smallest device footprint in the industry, supports the main UDP & TCP transport technologies over Cat M1/NB-IoT connectivity, meeting the needs of industrial, low-power IoT solutions.
“Our clients are excited about STM32 MCUs ability to help accelerate IoT development,” states Hatem Oueslati, CEO, IoTerop, “but they also need tools to provide the robust, standardized device management services that IoT solutions must have.”
Continuing, “Our cooperation with ST brings together exactly that by offering executable binaries that jumpstart design efforts right from the IoTerop website.”
“Adding IOWA to the market-proven STM32Cube ecosystem with X-CUBE-CELLULAR gives confidence to customers that they are building on the strongest of foundations,” said Hakim Jaafar, Marketing Manager of STM32 Wireless Microcontrollers, STMicroelectronics.
Continuing:
“Our collaboration with IoTerop provides important foundational pieces for organizations building smart city-type applications using NB-IoT or LTE-M.”
