EDMs
EDM stands for Electronic Direct Mail and just like targeted SMS, it’s a great way to directly communicate with customers (or potential customers) through emails that offer special deals, sales, promotions or precious VIP info. Essentially, your EDMs are going to help you build up your brand loyalty, and – fingers crossed – convert that into sales.
Now that emails are checked first thing in the morning (thank you smartphones), the power of the EDM is at an all-time high. But just like SMS communication, it’s important you don’t bombard your recipients with irrelevant info that’s off-brand. EDMs will give you more opportunity to communicate your message, so spend time thinking about how you want your brand to sound and what you want it to look like. A good way to get started is by thinking about who your customer is and why they’re interested in your business.
