Gaming revolves around the player.
What you need to know
- Xbox is preparing to launch a whole new generation of devices with the Xbox Series X and S on November 10.
- To celebrate, Xbox will hold a "Let's Play" livestream event on November 10 that anyone can tune into and participate in.
- There won't be any big announcements, but Xbox will have behind-the-scenes looks at games, creators, will raise money for charity, and more.
- There's also an awesome new trailer for Xbox that advertises Xbox's focus on the player, and everything that the Xbox platform offers.
This holiday season has already been extremely busy for video games, and it's only going to get more hectic (in a good way) with the launch of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on November 10, followed by the Playstation 5 starting on November 12. To celebrate the launch of their new next-gen consoles, Microsoft wants to host a livestream celebrating video games, players, and more on November 10, that anyone can tune into. There's also a new Xbox-flavored trailer that pretty ably showcases all of Xbox's strengths going into the next-generation of gaming.
Microsoft's Let's Play stream will air on Twitch, Facebook Gaming, and YouTube on November 10, 2020, starting at 11 am PT or 2 pm ET.
There won't be any big Xbox announcements during the Let's Play stream. Instead, Microsoft wants to celebrate a momentous time in gaming by inviting players to play right alongside Team Xbox, as well as various creators and partners. The stream will offer behind-the-scenes look at Xbox and the many video games being made for the platform, feature the stories of the people who make those games, showcase launch highlights from around the globe, and use the power of video games to raise money for different charities.
The new trailer also debuted alongside the announcement is pretty powerful in its own right, showcasing all the strengths of the steadily growing Xbox platform with its multi-pronged strategy. While competitors still focus on just their respective hardware, Xbox has expanded to two powerful new consoles, PC, and mobile devices, all connected by the power of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which combines the benefits of Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass for console and PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming (Project xCloud).
On November 10, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is getting even better with the addition of EA Play at no additional cost.

Is the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate the best value in all of gaming? It's possible. Ultimate bundles your Xbox Live Gold subscription, an Xbox Game Pass subscription for both Xbox consoles and Windows PC's, and Xbox Cloud Gaming for on-the-go. That means access to hundreds of games, with more added all the time, for a single monthly subscription cost.
