- A new Xbox Series X bundle has surfaced via Polish retailer RTV Euro AGD, coupling Microsoft's console with the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077.
- The alleged bundle launches on December 10 in the region, although Microsoft is yet to announce such a pairing at this point in time.
The Xbox Series X may soon secure its first official console bundle, meaning a new shipment of consoles coupled with one of this year's most anticipated titles, Cyberpunk 2077. The upcoming release looks to pair Microsoft's latest flagship console with CD Projekt-published action RPG, arriving one month after the system's worldwide launch.
The first mention of this unannounced Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X bundle comes from Poland's RTV Euro AGD, one of the largest consumer electronics stores in the region. The listing details a new stock-keeping unit (SKU) pairing the standard Xbox Series X 1TB console with a physical copy of the game, wrapped up in original custom packaging. The bundle reportedly arrives on December 10, priced similarly to the standard Xbox Series X console.
Microsoft is yet to announce such an Xbox Series X bundle, although it proves unsurprising following a long-standing partnership in the lead-up to the title's launch. The two firms previously partnered for a custom Xbox One X console, donning a limited-edition industrial design that rapidly sold out, alongside various similarly-skinned Xbox accessories. And assuming its authenticity, it remains unclear which regions will stock the bundle next month.
The bundle could prove lucrative for Microsoft, pairing up one of the year's most anticipated titles with its consoles. While the console included doesn't differ from the existing launch edition, it will help draw new buyers to the platform in one friction-free package. But selling these consoles hasn't exactly been an issue, with stock shortages making finding in-stock Xbox Series X consoles somewhat challenging.
The Xbox Series X remains in short supply, with high demand seeing opportunities to order the console stripped in seconds, and Microsoft and retailers struggle to keep stock on shelves. It's the same case with PlayStation 5, with scarce availability the norm for new console generations, and only worsened with current world events. Xbox CFO at Microsoft, Tim Stuart, recently stated the company doesn't expect to meet the demand for its latest consoles until at least April next year. Even if this bundle is headed to the U.S. and broadly in Europe — you'll likely need to act fast to secure one.
