You can save big on Wi-Fi 6 AND mesh networking with these eero deals

#Tech

Almost all of Amazon's eero and eero 6 mesh Wi-Fi systems are discounted for Cyber Monday.

Mesh networking has come into style in the last couple of years, and it's especially popular with those who have a large area to cover. These systems generally employ multiple nodes that all communicate with each other, sending out a unified signal for your devices. This is different from most classic network extenders, which move you between SSIDs as you come in and out of range. Most mesh systems cost more than a classic router, especially if you have a setup with multiple nodes, and Cyber Monday is a great time to make up that price difference with some great deals.

There are many mesh Wi-Fi systems on the market, some with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and some with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ac), but some of the best deals have so far been on Amazon's own eero mesh networking. The new eero 6, which combines mesh networking with the advantages of Wi-Fi 6, is on sale. You can get the router (which starts off your network), router and extenders, or just extenders depending on your needs.

Each eero 6 node (including the main router) has enough range for about 1,500 square feet, which will change based on layout and levels. It's easy to set up with the dedicated app, and its AX1800 performance is good for internet plans up to about 900Mbps. The eero 6 router includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired devices, though the extenders do not include the same Ethernet ports.

eero 6 router | $26 off

Start your Wi-Fi 6 mesh network with the eero 6 router, currently $26 off the regular price. If you want to go with mesh right off the bat, be sure to add some extenders to the package.

$103 at Amazon

eero 6 extender | $18 off

Already have an eero 6 router and want to add some extra nodes to create a mesh network? These extenders are what you need, and they're currently $18 off the regular price.

$71 at Amazon

eero 6 router + extender | $40 off

This is the cheaper way to go compared to buying parts separately, at least if you want to start a mesh network right away. This router and extender bundle is currently $40 off the regular price.

$159 at Amazon

eero 6 router + two extenders | $56 off

Have a lot of space to cover and don't want to buy the pieces separately? This router comes with two extenders for about 5,000 square feet of coverage.

$223 at Amazon

There is also the eero Pro 6, an advanced version of the eero 6 that still offers Wi-Fi 6. The differences between the two systems primarily comes down to top speed, number of LAN ports on each node, and two bands versus three bands. Whereas the standard eero 6 has a main router that can be complemented by extenders, each eero Pro 6 is equal with the same number of ports and abilities. It's a tri-band system with AX4200 performance, better cut out for Gigabit internet plans and larger spaces to cover (up to 2,000 square feet per node).

eero Pro 6 | $46 off

Start off your mesh system with one eero Pro 6 node, currently $46 off the regular price. For a mesh system, you'll want at least two. Keep in mind all eero products are compatible with each other, so you can link up Pro models with regular models.

$183 at Amazon

eero Pro 6 (2-pack) | $80 off

If you know you need a mesh system right off the hop, two eero Pro 6s can be had for a lot less than buying them separately.

$319 at Amazon

If you'd rather stick with Wi-Fi 5 and pay a bit less money, you can get eero and eero Pro models also on sale for Cyber Monday. They're not quite as powerful as the 6 versions and they don't come with the added benefits of Wi-Fi 6, but they are still strong mesh systems for anyone with a lot of space to cover.

eero router | $20 off

A single eero router is a good starting point for your mesh network. On its own it's capable of handling a standard home's traffic, but it will truly shine with extra nodes added.

$79 at Amazon

eero (2-pack) | $51 off

Cover up to about 3,000 square feet with two eero routers. This setup is good for internet speeds up to about 550Mbps.

$118 at Amazon

eero (3-pack) | $75 off

This three-pack of eero nodes is good for up to about 5,000 square feet of coverage. This is a good option if you have an ISP plan around 350Mbps.

$174 at Amazon

eero Pro (3-pack) | $100 off

This three-pack of eero Pros is cut out to cover about 6,000 square feet and will handle internet speeds up to about 550Mbps. Each node has two Ethernet ports and three bands for best performance.

$399 at Amazon
