Footage of Elden Ring, FromSoftware's upcoming action RPG that the studio itself considers the spritual successor to Dark Souls, has allegedly leaked online. According to journalist Jeff Grubb, the gameplay was recorded on a base Xbox One console. The footage doesn't show anything very significant, although based on the character's jumps in the gameplay, it appears that players will be able to jump more fluidly in Elden Ring than in most previous FromSoftware games.
It's important to take leaks with a grain of salt, although based on the visual location of the leaked gameplay, it's very likely that the leak is real since the surrounding environment matches the castles, forrests, and the green sky that has been seen in official screenshots.
