Halo Infinite is inbound, with developer 343 Industries sharing new details on what players can expect from the first premium Halo Infinite battle pass. Speaking with IGN, 343 Industries re-affirmed that this first season is themed after Halo: Reach, being appropriately titled "Heroes of Reach." There'll be a variety of armors from Reach, as well as Death Effects. You can see a teaser for some of these in the image that was provided to IGN below:
Notably, 343 Industries says this is the closest players have ever gotten to being able to look like the members of Noble Team from Halo: Reach. 343 Industries also tells IGN that for Spartans, outside of the aforementioned "Fractures" cosmetics, things will be lore-appropriate, meaning there's no dancing emotes coming, at least for now.
Halo Infinite's multiplayer is entirely free-to-play on all platforms, with 120 FPS support on Xbox Series X|S. The multiplayer will grow from season to season, with a list of Halo Infinite maps that's sure to get bigger over time. Halo Infinite is currently slated to launch on Dec. 8, 2021.
