IFA 2022: Lenovo introduces latest 16-inch ThinkPad X1 Fold and new ThinkBook 16p Gen 3 #Azure

#Microsoft If you’ve been curious about foldable Windows 11 PCs, Lenovo’s new ThinkPad X1 Fold provides the screen real estate and viewing experience of a 16-inch laptop that can convert into a sub-13-inch laptop that is light and compact enough to easily carry around and store. Fron view of Lenovo’s new ThinkPad X1 Fold rotated into portrait There are many modes in which you can enjoy it at its full size: unfold into landscape with a stand, rotate into portrait (for working with long documents, simultaneous social feeds, websites and more) and book mode (for proofreading articles or browsing digital bestsellers). Other modes available on this PC are classic clamshell (aka laptop) and tablet. Regardless of the mode you prefer, Windows 11 will run well on this PC, which is built on an Intel Evo design and powered by 12th Gen Intel Core processors up to i7 with Intel vPro platform and Intel Iris Xe Graphics. You can also add SSD storage up to 1TB and memory options up to 32GB LPDDR5. You’ll find what you need more quickly with Windows 11, which is easy to setup and easier to use. It’s also a productivity powerhouse with multitasking tools such as Snap Layouts and multiple desktops that work across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Edge and more. It’s also got layers of security that protect data wherever you’re working. The new Intel Visual Sensing Controller is a secure companion chip that helps make PCs smarter, power efficient and more secure through the power of Intel artificial intelligence. The optional 5MP Computer Vision camera works in clamshell, landscape and portrait modes, taking advantage of automatic framing, and features an increased 75-degree horizontal field of view. Human Presence Detection provides “wake-on-approach” and “lock-on-leave” functionality adding a degree of security. When that is combined with Windows Hello, you get the simplicity of zero-touch login. The larger display required a redesign for both the hinge and the panel itself, resulting in a thinner system. When it’s unfolded, it measures just 0.34 inches thin. Folded, it’s not much more: 0.69 inches thin. Over 200 parts move synchronously within the hinge design to maximize display consistency and durability. Lenovo engineers also developed a set of patent-pending folding graphite sheets to dissipate heat across the system to deliver an exceptionally powerful fan-less design. These Windows 11 PCs come with up to AMD Ryzen 9 6000 H-series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 discrete graphics to help tackle the most arduous demands of hybrid work. Those demands are also met through up to 32GB dual-channel LPDDR5 memory, up to 2TB through dual SSD storage and a 71Wh battery. High-speed reliable connectivity, plenty of ports and a fingerprint-enabled Smart Power Button (to quickly pick up where you left off) round out the many ways this PC can adapt to a variety of work styles and locations. And if you’re in front of screens for hours at a time, the options for the immersive narrow-bezel 16-inch 2.5K IPS display include TÃœV Rheinland Low Blue Light and TÃœV Eyesafe certifications to maximize eye comfort and an Ambient Light Sensor that adjusts screen and keyboard backlight brightness.
