We are so excited to officially announce that the 2023 edition of our annual EU-Startups Summit will take place on April 20-21, once again in beautiful Barcelona!
This year, at the 2022 edition, we hosted the biggest EU-Startups Summit yet, and it was a successful in-person comeback. Next year, our annual flagship event is going to be even bigger and better! We will gather over 2,000 founders, startup enthusiasts and investors for two days of networking, inspiration and learning.
At our pitch competition and in the exhibition hall we’ll be showcasing a selection of Europe’s hottest startups. We’ll have two stages where you’ll be able to listen to and learn from some of the most successful European entrepreneurs and thought leaders of our time.
Taking place over two days of unmissable action in one of Europe’s most exciting startup hubs, the EU-Startups Summit is a premium gathering of founders, startup enthusiasts, corporates and investors from right across the continent. The event always has been and always will be a great location for networking, with many deals and new collaborations being formed on-site. We will put even more emphasis on networking next year, with an enhanced networking app in the works and more dedicated networking opportunities and spaces being prioritized.
After the huge popularity of our exhibition hall this year we’re allowing for even more exciting exhibitors to get involved next year. You can get in touch with us already if you’d like to secure a slot ([email protected]).
And as one of our annual highlights, we’ll once again have the big startup Pitch Competition happening on the main stage – with a prize package value above €125k. In total, we expect over 1,500 applications from startups across Europe. The 15 finalists will pitch at the EU-Startups Summit in front of our attendees and in front of an expert jury of VC investors. You’ll for sure be on the edge of your seat as we hear pitches from Europe’s most promising early-stage startups, ready to shape the future of innovation.
The application phase for the pitch competition starts in December.
Alongside all of this, attendees will have access to the main stage and the workshop stage. They’ll feature fireside chats with some of Europe’s most successful founders and investors, educational talks, and insightful panel discussions. In previous years our line-up has included the CEO’s and founders from companies like TravelPerk, Zilch, Clue, wefox, BlaBlaCar, King, and even Mariya Gabriel, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth.
