Problem the startup solves:
Forrmatic is a solution for individuals, teams, and businesses looking to improve their productivity and stay organized. The problem it solves is the challenge of managing multiple tasks and projects, keeping track of progress, and staying on top of deadlines. With traditional methods, such as manual data entry into spreadsheets or sticky notes, it can be difficult to get a clear overview of all your tasks, prioritize your efforts, and avoid missing important deadlines.
Formatic provides a unique combination of customizable data entry forms and boards that make it easy to input, visualize, and manage your tasks. With the ability to add labels and quickly search and filter through your data, Formatic provides a simple and effective solution to the problem of task and project management. Whether you’re a project manager, team leader, or simply someone who wants to stay organized, Formatic has the tools you need to get the job done.
With its seamless integration with Google Workspace, Formatic makes it easy to manage form responses, track tasks, and organize data from Google Sheets in a more efficient and visually appealing way. Customizable data entry forms and boards provide a streamlined solution for individuals, teams, and businesses to manage projects, customers, and tasks.
Progress and Current Status:
Formatic is a bootstrapped project started by myself, with a dedicated development team working to achieve product-market fit through continuous iteration. The goal of Formatic is to improve data entry and organization through custom forms and Kanban boards. The app integrates with Google Workspace, syncing with Google Forms to manage form responses, linking with Google Tasks, and linking with Google Sheets to enhance data entry and organization.
Currently, this month Formatic has reached 1000 sign ups this month and we are continuously working to improve the user experience. In the near future, we are excited to introduce the ability for users to share their boards with others, making collaboration even easier. Our focus remains on achieving product-market fit and delivering a product that our users love
What is an Inspiring Story about the Startup?:
I have always been fascinated with technology and its potential to solve problems and make people’s lives easier. As a pharmacist and then a dentist, I was able to help people in different ways, but I always felt like there was something missing. I was searching for my next challenge and that’s when I came across the idea for Formatic.
Growing up, I was always tinkering with technology and taught myself how to code. I wanted to use my passion for technology and my desire to solve problems to create something that could help others. That’s when Formatic was born.
Formatic is a bootstrapped startup that is focused on improving the way people manage their data, tasks, and projects. With the integration of Google Workspace, Formatic streamlines the process of data entry and organization, making it easier for individuals and teams to stay on top of their work.
Our goal is to achieve product-market fit through iteration and continuous improvement. In just a short amount of time, we have already reached 1000 sign-ups and are introducing new features, such as board sharing, to enhance the user experience.
My journey with Formatic has been an exciting and challenging one, but I am proud of what we have accomplished so far. I am confident that with hard work and dedication, we will continue to grow
What is a Company the Startup Looks Up to, and Why?:
As a tech enthusiast from a young age, I was always on the lookout for new and innovative solutions to improve people’s lives. One company that stood out to me as a model for simplicity and ease of use was Dropbox.
When I first started using Dropbox, I was amazed by how seamless and straightforward the experience was. The ability to store and access files from anywhere, on any device, was truly revolutionary. I was impressed by the company’s focus on keeping the user experience as simple and intuitive as possible, while still delivering powerful features.
Dropbox’s commitment to creating a user-friendly product that streamlined people’s lives inspired me to create Formatic. Just like Dropbox, I wanted to develop a solution that would make organizing and managing data easier and more efficient. I believe that, just like Dropbox, the key to success is to keep things simple and focus on delivering a seamless user experience. This is what sets Formatic apart and has helped us achieve over 1000 sign-ups in just one month
The Company in Four Years Will Be…
In four years, Formatic aims to be a well-known and respected platform in the project and task management space. Our goal is to offer industry-specific versions of the software, tailoring our features to the unique needs of various industries, including healthcare, education, and finance. Additionally, we plan to invest in AI integration to provide even more efficient and intuitive ways of managing projects and tasks. With a strong focus on simplicity and ease-of-use, we believe that Formatic will become the go-to solution for businesses and teams of all sizes
